It all begins with a story.
Sage Lynn (they/them) is a Black non-binary lesbian visual artist & educator from Philadelphia. They have a deep passion for intimate visual storytelling primarily documenting vulnerable, candidly intimate storytelling of Black queer womanhood, black gender expansive identities, and intersections of black communities. With a cinematic and moody style inspired by documentary photography, they approach their projects through a sociological lens. They shoot primarily on film using 120mm and 35mm formats, capturing raw and authentic moments that speak to the beauty and complexity of marginalized identities.
